The members of the Big Class Youth Advisory Council celebrate National Poetry Month with the launch of their book and project Pothole Poetry. Twenty high schoolers submitted poems to be dispensed from thirty traffic cones peppered throughout downtown New Orleans, transforming those pesky potholes into living poetry. Join some of our young poets on April 9th at Alvar Library for their publishing party and accompanying live readings. Maps will be available to navigate all thirty cones and discover pothole poetry throughout the city!
