Presently in New Zealand, will by my last post until April 6th. I am designing the Pothole Poetry book with submissions from 20 students, and brainstorming/firming design for the poem dispenser that will live on the 30 traffic cones peppered through downtown. The Pothole Poetry book will have all poems, a map of cone locations, and documentation photos. Our publishing party + readings is at the Alvar library on April 9th. Looking for volunteers to help distribute cones the evening of April 7th.
The Literary Snowball stand is underway with funding and support from The Arts Council! YAC will partner with the students at The Net to design and build under the mentorship of Jebney Lewis and a Tulane City Center summer fellow. More details as I have them. Presently drafting an engagement agreement with The Net so build out can begin during their summer internship period of June 1st- July 15th.
